WalkHerts

If you enjoy walking, why not enhance your DanseHerts experience by making a day, or even a weekend of your visit? Weather you prefer a Sunday morning walk before DanseHerts or a Saturday walk with an overnight stay, we have the maps and the B&B contacts to help you.

The maps, provided and produced by Ickleford Parish Council and Country Side Management Services, cover the Public Footpaths, Public Bridleways, Public Byways and Permissible Footpaths of Ickleford, Holwell and Pirton.

When walking, please ensure that you dress appropriately for the prevailing conditions, and carry water and some form of communication with you.

DanseHerts is happy to facilitate the provision of maps and B&B contacts, but cannot take any responsibility for the accuracy of the information or the services supplied.  It is entirely your choice to participate.

Maps and other information will be available to view at our next meeting.

For B&B, try The Cricketers Public House.  It is situated 150 yards from the Village Hall on the left hand side heading away from Hitchin. (ie turn right out of the Village Hall car park).  Contact Ray on 07885 284128, or visit their web site at  www.thecricketersickleford.com

It is situated 150 yards from the Village Hall on the left hand side heading towards Hitchin. (ie. turn left out of the Village Hall car park)   They also have a range of Sandwiches and other things to eat, drink or read.  Open 07:00 - 13:00 at this time of year.
